Club Policies
Playing Up Permit:
All requests are to be made in writing to the Club Secretary.
No playing up permits will be considered until the week prior to Round 1 and the teams are finalized.
The Executive reserves the right not to grant a playing up permit, acting in the best interest of both the player and the appropriate age group.
Strapping:
In the best interest of the player, if strapping is required, it needs to be done by a qualified practitioner (Physic) or a parent/guardian.

AFL Kids First Code of Conduct
1. Remember that children play sport for their enjoyment, not yours.
2. Encourage children to participate according to the Rules; do not force participation upon them.
3. Focus on the child’s efforts and self esteem rather than winning or losing.
4. Never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake.
5. Remember children learn best by example – applaud the efforts of all players in both teams.
6. Show appreciation of volunteers, coaches, officials and administrators, without them your child could not participate.
7. Respect umpires’ decisions and teach children to do likewise.
8. Remember that smoking and the consumption of alcohol is unacceptable at junior sport.
Players Code of Conduct
1. Play by the rules of your Club and the laws of the game.
2. Never argue with an umpire or other official – without these people you can’t play.
3. Control your temper – verbal abuse of officials and sledging other players on and off the field will not be tolerated.
4. Be a team player – it’s a team game, treat it that way.
5. Treat all players as you would like to be treated.
6. Cooperate with your coach, the umpire and team mates.
7. Play for your own enjoyment and to improve your skills.
8. Don’t use derogatory remarks based on race, religion, gender or ability.
9. Ensure your behavior on and off the field is of an acceptable standard and that you don’t damage the reputation of the Club.
